Our Sansar is calling for people to join them in a Sleep-Out for charity on 14 April 2012 in a show of solidarity with street
children globally. The challenge is to experience what it is like to sleep rough and to raise money in the process. Our Sansar is organising a Brighton event and are encouraging people all over the country to join them by setting up their own local events.

Comedy Rocks the Komedia, Brighton
Well, it’s definitely been a great week for Our Sansar. Last night we held our Comedy Rocks the Komedia in Brighton and it was a HUGE success. After a bit of a stressful beginning to the week, as is the case when organising any type of event, it all came together on the night. Our fantastic line up of comedians, including the multi-talented actress and comedian Sara Pascoe and the international ‘flaneur, raconteur, bon-viveur’ Marcel Lucont, helped us to pack the Komedia to the brim. With the addition of our raffle (fantastic prizes ranging from mushroom picking, personal training sessions, Lucy Loveheart art work, and tickets to Brighton Racecourse, to name just a few) we managed to raise over £1200 towards the launch of our shelter for street children in Chitwan, Nepal.
A MASSIVE thank you to all the comedians, everyone who donated a raffle prize, Komedia for the great venue, food and drinks, and, of course, to all those who joined us for such a fun night and donated generously.
And a massive thank you to M & V Manufacturing (HK) Ltd who sponsored our event. Without them we wouldn't have been able to raise these necessary funds for the children's home.
