ANARJIT KUMAR SAH – Outreach Officer at the Child Helpline
I am from Birgunj and work as an Outreach officer at the Child Helpline. My work involves monitoring and locating children who live on the streets. My role involves plans for future support for the identified children and their families (close or extended) and dealing with all the necessary paperwork. I am collaborating with the District Police Office, OCMC , local government and local social workers to provide the best possible solutions for the children.
My hobbies are reading books, writing stories, taking photographs of landscapes, listening to music, helping less fortunate people and designing tools as a mechanical engineer. I want to teach and expand my knowledge. I am very interested in visiting new places.
As an Outreach Officer, I feel proud to be a part of this project aimed at providing support to the children who have no one else to turn to. It is wonderful to see the impact of our efforts at the Child Helpline. I am delighted to see the children in Birgunj actively engaging in education under the guidance of Our Sansar, working towards building a more inclusive society. I’m grateful for the experience that has brought me here.
