Erica Pagliani – Blogging and Fundraising Officer
I am from Vercelli, a small town in the north of Italy, but I have been living in London for over 10 years.
My adventure with Our Sansar started last autumn when I visited Nepal for the first time (hopefully the first of many to come!): I volunteered at the Parwanipur children home and at the Daycare & Helpline centre in Birgunj. I fell in love with the country, with the people, with the members of the team and, of course, with the boys. Lately, I have been involved with the blog.
Being part of this family and contribute to their mission means a lot to me for many reasons. I really love Nepal and I feel I am helping with one of the challenges the Nepalese society has been facing – children living and working on the streets. I love the way Our Sansar is looking after the boys and how it supports the community at the same time. Last but not least, as I got to know the boys personally and they won my heart, I am happy to do my bit to help them.
