NARGISH JAHAN – Social Worker at the Children’s Protection Centre
I am from Parsa, Birgunj, Province-2 Nepal. I have completed my Master’s Degree in finance. I then used to work as a teacher and love to work with children. I have also worked as a Public Administrable Fellow in the Birgunj city, part of an initiative by Dayitwa Nepal. My love towards Children lead me to Our Sansar. I feel very satisfied helping girls in the safe house.
I manage all the daily operations of the shelter to ensure that it is running smoothly, and I also coordinate with the team, social workers, families and local authorities to ensure that all children that need help are welcome at our shelter and that they are linked with their families when it is safe and appropriate to do so.
I become very happy when I see positive changes in the children’s lives thanks to motivation and counseling. I I can help many girls who come to Our Sansar.
