SABITA PUN – Social Worker at the Children’s Protection Centre
I grew up in the Himalayas, Nepal, did my schooling and further education in Kathmandu. From the start, during my gap year I used to get involved with different non profit organisations as a volunteer even though I was from a management sector. During my summer break I went to the Terai region as a volunteer at school and that’s where my passion to help children started. Stepping out of my comfort zone, seeing the other sad part of Nepal was tough for me at first. I realised that even a small help to the needy communities I contributed meant a lot to them.
