Subash Khushawa – Project Assistant at the Children’s Home

I am from Bara District, southern Nepal. I have been living at Our Sansar children’s home since 2013 and I was one of the first boys that joined the home. At the age of 11 I used to live on the streets with no parents to support me and I didn’t realise the importance of education and value of life. 

After I moved to the children’s home, I was being brought up in a friendly environment and experienced love, security and now I am enrolled into the college and receiving a good education. I am very happy to work with the Our Sansar team. I love the fact that I am supporting other children who came from similar backgrounds to myself and that I am able to make a great change to their lives. In the future I want to be a core member of Our Sansar family.
