Our Sansar Charity Event Komedia

A hilarious evening was in store for both the comedians and audience members who braved a rather chilly Wednesday night to join us for Brighton Comedy Rocks at the Komedia. There was eating, drinking and merry making with a signature cocktail – an exotic blue concoction called Nila Rasa, fuelling the high spirits.

The compere for the evening was the supremely funny Marcel Lucont. Joining him in his funny bone ticklery was the acerbic Dan Evans followed by the highly energetic sketch group Casual Violence. Michael Fabbri had a few faces blushing into their drinks with his clever, but decidedly rude set. The incomparable Zoe Lyons managed to inspired all manner of laughter from giggles to great big belly laughs. Bringing the evening to a close was the wonderful Simon Evans who had to share his lime light with a few vocal audience members. A rather entertaining couple seated in the front row kept all of the acts on their toes! It was a cosy, intimate show, just what was needed for a cold December night. And all of the action was captured for us by skilful Jennifer of Jennifer Smith Photography.

The night brought in a fantastic £1500, which will go towards supporting our Children’s Home in Birgunj, Southern Nepal.

The evening would not have been as wonderful as it was if it were not for our amazing team, our incredible photographer, Jennifer, and the wonderful people and companies that sponsored our raffle. Thank you to all of the wonderful comedians and a huge thank you to:
