Jeremy Langley: TrusteeJeremy is a Regional Director for Western Europe, Middle East and Africa at Lumesse. These regions are obviously highly diverse, both culturally and geographically, ranging from Norway to South Africa, and from Ireland to Israel. That makes it very challenging but also great fun to manage. They have over 1,000 customers in the region, including every kind and size of business. Every day brings new challenges, new opportunities and the chance to meet new customers and to learn how they can help them achieve their talent management goals.

Jeremy’s team is also spread across the region, working closely with customers and business partners to deliver their solutions in many languages. And because so many of their customers have international operations, the team has to work together across national boundaries to implement multi-lingual solutions that also recognise the many differences in business practices between countries.

Despite the differences, some things are common to all the customers they meet – every business wants to hire the best people they can find and to manage them more effectively. It’s very satisfying to help them do that, but also to learn from them about their talent strategies and what works in different places.

Jeremy brings sixteen years’ experience in the talent management industry, having originally joined Lumesse in 2000 as Business Development Director and Sales Strategy Director of StepStone – Europe’s largest job board. Before this he was MD of a UK based recruitment firm and also spent two years at a competitor as UK MD.
