Katie first got acquainted with Our Sansar while studying for her Masters degree at Queen Mary, University of London. She volunteered in different areas of the organisation but, with her passion for education development and working with children, she focused on the Education Programme. Since graduating in MA Global and Comparative Politics, Katie has been travelling and working for schools and organisations across the world, from Europe to Palestine and China. After the 2015 earthquakes struck Nepal, Katie spend the summer volunteering in Our Sansar’s emergency shelter and children’s home. Online, she maintains Our Sansar’s social media and helps with campaign design and organisation.
