In the last month we’ve welcomed three new members to the Our Sansar Communications Team. So we thought we’d give you a quick introduction to the newbies.
Lucy has been working as a communications professional for a number of public sector organisations since graduating university in 2006. She completed a PGDip in Social Sciences in 2011 from the Open University and began to focus her career on digital communications. Lucy loves traveling and took time out of her career to volunteer in an orphanage in Peru in 2012. Since then she has wanted to continue her work with charities especially those that are making a difference in the lives of children in the poorest countries.
Socially, Lucy loves good music and spending her summers dancing at all the festivals on offer.
Jess Carroll
After completing an MA in International Intervention in 2012 at Surrey University, Jess decided to do some travelling and move abroad for a few months before making the move to London. Having previously worked at a rehabilitation centre for street children in Kenya and completing an internship in Social Media she wanted to use her skills to help a similar charity. She loves working with children and really wants to help make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children living in developing countries.
In her spare time Jess loves travelling, listening to music and going out for dinner with friends (a lot).
Evelyn Rose
After graduating from Kent University in July ’13 with a distinction in English Literature, Evelyn has since turned her attention to the world of digital marketing. Her professional experience specialises in the non-profit, marketing, and market research sectors and, as a result, she has developed a great interest for PR and charity fundraising. When she isn’t sourcing content and planning ideas for campaigns, you can find her hunched over a laptop; tweeting, pinning, and fb’ing.
